Movie poster has a commercial aim and it advertises movie. The researcher selects the movie of Fresh in order to examine semiotic sign. This study tries analyze implicit explicit meaning through signs on poster. data is obtained from poster, “Fresh” that taken internet website. qualitative approach used this study. analysis focuses content other words because explore found Fresh. Based this, examines sign “Fresh”. uses Saussure’s theory (2011) Wierzbicka’s color (1996) Dyer’s verbal visual aspect (1986).
